A Detailed Itinerary:
Day 1: Airport Pickup and Transfer to Murchison Falls NP with Detour to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary.
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be met by our safari guide-driver from Arcadia Safaris who will brief you on the trip and then drive directly to Murchison Falls National Park. This park is the highlight of a visit to this area: roaring rapids of Murchison Falls, rolling plains of Uganda’s largest National Park where you will catch a glimpse of lions, giraffes, hartebeest, buffalo, and elephants. Then you will be very fascinated by the concentration of hippos and the Nile crocodiles found here.
To the birders, Murchison falls are a home for 450 species of birds including the shoebill stork, dwarf kingfisher, the white-thigh hornbill, and the Goliath heron among others. Enroute, make a stopover at Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary for your first Big 5 experience where you will have an hour of rhino tracking. Another stop shall be in Masindi in order to enjoy your lunch. Continue to the park, check in into your accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Murchison Game Drive and a Boat Trip to the Base of the Falls.
On day 2 of your safari; After an early breakfast, tour the Northern section of Murchison with a high concentration of savannah wildlife. Enjoy game viewing and photography of elephants, buffalos, waterbucks, giraffes, Uganda Kobs and lions, the leopards plus a variety of bird species. Return to your accommodation for lunch then go for the boat trip to the base of the falls. This trip is said to be the highlight of the safari in Murchison falls since it allows you to get up close to the animal species within the water. Cruise past huge hippo pods, crocodiles, bathing buffalo, and numerous aquatic birds adorning the north bank on the way to the mighty waterfalls.
You will have an opportunity to take thousands of pictures and so carry your camera with you if you like. Also, proceed for a hike optional to the top of the falls. The hike is a strenuous one but the thrill on reaching the top is unforgettable. Miss it only if you must! Return to your accommodation thereafter for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Transfer to Entebbe for Departure – 3 Day Murchison Falls with Big 5 Adventure.
Be up early, have breakfast then drive to the top of the falls (if you didn’t hike) to enjoy the spectacular view of the falls and thereafter depart for Kampala and connect to Entebbe Airport for your outbound flight back home.
