Detailed Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha and Transfer to Ngorongoro.

Welcome to Tanzania! Upon arrival at the Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met by your amiable guide, who will give you a proper briefing concerning the adventure; After a short stopover in Arusha to refresh and have lunch, the journey begins as you drive toward the world-famous Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

The drive to Ngorongoro is an exhilarating ride on its own as you will pass by some lush farmlands, Maasai villages, and breathtakingly beautiful sceneries. As you climb higher up toward the highlands of Ngorongoro, it certainly gets cooler-downright misty. Indeed, the mist lends a kind of mystique to the drive. You will reach your lodge by late afternoon, perched on the rim of Ngorongoro Crater.

As you retire to your comfortable accommodation, that vast expanse of crater floor will just about leave you aghast. You’ll indulge in a delicious dinner while watching one of nature’s most remarkable wonders.

Day 2: Full Day Ngorongoro Crater Exploration.

Start off early today with a good breakfast ahead of the descent into the Ngorongoro Crater-commonly referred to as the “Eighth Wonder of the World”; A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the crater is host to an immense concentration of wildlife, and therefore considered one of the best wildlife viewing spots in the world.

Going down the crater walls to the plains, one finds them teeming with life-from the “Big Five” of lions, elephants, leopards, rhinos, and buffalo that thrive in this natural enclosure; Ngorongoro Crater supports a range of ecosystems-from open grasslands across swamps to woodlands-to accommodate a wide range of animals, including hippos, wildebeests, zebras, and gazelles.

Driven by your guide you will head to various ‘hotspots’ in the crater, including the Lake Magadi area, which is home to hundreds of pink flamingos during the rainy season. Today, have a picnic lunch on the crater floor, surrounded by this dramatic landscape.

Later this afternoon, head up to the crater rim and back to your lodge, where you will relax, have dinner and enjoy a quiet evening.

Day 3: Morning Game Drive and Transfer Back to Arusha.

Wake up early on this last day and take a morning game drive around the crater rim. You will get one more chance to see some of the fascinating wildlife of Ngorongoro against the attractive sunrise backdrop.

After your morning drive, return to the lodge for breakfast and then take off for Arusha. This is quality time for yourself as the scenic route meanders back from where your magical adventure just unfolded-from the misty highlands down to the wildlife-packed crater.

You will be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport upon arrival in Arusha for your departure flight or transferred to your hotel for a relaxing stay; You will leave Ngorongoro with memories of great landscapes and amazing wildlife encounters, possessing an attachment to the area as part of your soul. This shall be the end of our amazing 3 Day Ngorongoro Magical Adventure.
