5 Day Magical Tanzania Safari. This tour offers you an opportunity to see and discover Tanzania in a unique way. Begin with the beauty of Lake Manyara with it/s famous tree climbing lions before moving on to encounter the spectacle of the Ngorongoro and Serengeti sweeping plains, home to Africa big five.

Combine this with magnificent night game drive to explore the African bush, sound and star gazing. On the second day before move to Serengeti, explore the village of Mto-Wa-Mbu and the shores of Lake Manyara on two wheels.

Detailed Itinerary:

Day 1: Airport Pickup and Transfer to your Hotel in Arusha.

Upon arrival at the Airport, our professional safari guide/driver from Arcadia Safaris shall be ready for you and a meet and greet session shall be conducted. After you will be driven to your booked accommodation in Arusha for dinner and overnight stay as you prepare for the transfer to your next destination the following day.

Day 2: Transfer to Lake Manyara National Park.

After early morning breakfast at 07:30 am you will be picked from your accommodation in Arusha by our professional safari guide/driver from Arcadia Safaris and drive straight to Lake Manyara National Park. There is a profusion of wildlife in this small national park, and the amazing bird watching experience will certainly be rewarding to both a devote and first-time bird watcher. It is as well among the few places on the African continent to see the tree-climbing lions that will be your main quest for the day. 5 Day Magical Tanzania: Manyara in addition prides in a large flock of beautiful pink flamingos found near the lake.

You will have lunch at picnic site then proceed with game drive towards the exit gate to Africa Safari Campsite. Get some time to relax, today you will take early dinner, then back to Manyara again for night game drive, your drive starts around 20:00 from where you head into the thick ground-water forest of Lake Manyara. From the forest you head down towards the lake following the Simba River to the hippo pools. You will return back to the forest and finally be back to the camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Morning Cycling at Lake Manyara and Transfer to Serengeti in Afternoon.

Early wake up today have a cup of coffee to warm up, then start your Cycling. Experience local cultures from your bike on a 3-hour mountain bike ride through the farming village of Mto-Wa-Mbu. You visit local farms, schools, church, milling machine, a local bar and enjoy the sights and sounds of this vibrant village.

Cycle to the lake shore where there are stunning vistas of the lake, the Rift Valley Wall and small herds of wildlife. The ride is on fairly flat single tracks. Back to the camp for brunch before get to the vehicle ready for Serengeti adventure.

Depart in the afternoon and drive to Serengeti via Ngorongoro, game enroute to your camp. Even during the ‘down-time’, vast herds of wildebeest, zebra and gazelle roam here, along with groups of elephant, giraffe, and buffalo. As the lions, leopard, cheetah, hyenas and jackals stalk their meals, we enjoy a picnic lunch in this open arena. Dinner and overnight at your accommodation.

Day 4: Transfer from Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro.

Depart this morning for a game drive in the central part of the Serengeti. This part is famous for the abundance of lions and leopards that can usually be seen quite easily. Game viewing in the central area is spectacular all year round. Enjoy the views of endless plains and stunning wildlife like cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, hippos, ostrich, jackals, hyenas, hyrax and many more. Later back to your camp for lunch then game enroute to Ngorongoro for Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 5: Transfer from Ngorongoro to Arusha for Departure: -5 Day Magical Tanzania Safari.

After early morning breakfast, descend down crater at 06am for 6-7hrs game drive, with picnic lunch. We venture onto the crater floor for an up close at the residents of this World Heritage Site, and enjoy a picnic lunch here. The Ngorongoro Crater provides great game-viewing all year-round.

The wildlife here makes up a permanent population because grazing and water supplies are plentiful throughout the seasons. Afternoon drive back to Arusha, arrive in Arusha around 05 pm, drop off at your accommodation or at the Airport. This shall be the end of our 5 Day Magical Tanzania Safari.
